The Nespresso Vertuo machine large coffee pods produce 12oz; please use a large coffee mug or the disposable cups provided in the cabinet above the coffee machine.

1. Turn the silver knob on the top of the machine all the way to the right (unlock mode) to open the machine completely. 

2. Place the coffee pod into the machine

3. Close the top by pressing the top down and turning the silver knob to the left (lock mode), and then you’ll see the coffee cup icon start blinking - press the button to start brewing

You’ll find coffee creamer in the fridge, as well as other common condiments provided for guests. 

note: coffee will overflow out of the small tea cups 😉 but there’s an extensive tea collection, with multiple options for sweeteners offered too!

A Block Rocker bluetooth speaker is provided for your enjoyment. Here’s how to connect:

1. Turn off & unplug the Block Rocker completely, turn off your bluetooth on your device, and then turn the Block Rocker on using the on/off switch on the back top left side of the Block Rocker.

2. Open your bluetooth connections on your device, and search for “Block Rocker”

3. On the front of the Block Rocker, press the small “Bluetooth” button to the right of the Mic Volume and you should see “Block Rocker” appear under your list of bluetooth devices, and it will connect automatically when you click on the name.

Please place trash bags in the large *black* trash bin, located behind the pergola in the side yard (the brown bin is for recycling items).

We take the bins out to the curb on Wednesday evenings for Thursday early morning garbage truck pick up, so if you’re staying on a Wednesday night will need you to back up your car if you’re parked in the spot in front of the gate so that we can open the gate and roll the trash bins out to the curb. We appreciate your understanding and apologize for the inconvenience.Thank you! 

Turn on / open propane tank by opening the door on the side of the fire pit table, and turn the silver knob to the left - just one rotation. (Remember to turn off the propane when done using since it’ll leak).

Turn on the gas flame by pushing in the knob on the front panel of the fire pit table; push and turn simultaneously to the right to make the flame higher (or left for a smaller flame). 

Making s’mores - please use the gold metal tongs if you’re planning to use the fire pit table to melt chocolate inside of your s’mores. 

Parking for the Guest House is designated to two spots:

1. Park all the way up, in front of the gate on the far right side of the property (from street-view). 

2. A second parking spot is located in the long driveway all the way to the left side of the property (from street view), in the diagonal spot on the right side behind the two small steps.
